Choose the visual bridge

A turn of the head, a hand entering frame, or the same doorway in two worlds can bridge the cut. Pick one bridge and make it visible in both shots.

Keep role and camera direction stable

If Person A is on the left before the cut, swapping their position afterward can look like an identity error. State the intended screen position and camera direction in the shot notes.

Test the seam, not just the scenes

Pause just before and after the edit. Compare pose, identity, lighting and motion. A good seam should be clear even when the two shots use different atmospheres.
