How we handle your account, portraits, payments and generated videos.

Information we process
We process the account and email details needed to sign you in, associate purchases with your account and help you retrieve orders. For purchases, we record payment references, amounts, currency, payment status and credit balances. Payment card details are entered with our payment provider rather than in the photo form.
When you upload portraits, we process the original files, normalized copies, image validation and screening results, and the information needed to generate and deliver your video. We also keep order status, technical and security records, and any information you send to support.
Why and with whom we process information
We use this information to operate accounts, verify payments, manage credits, screen uploads, create videos, provide private downloads, prevent misuse and resolve support requests.
Our service uses Clerk for sign-in, Subotiz for checkout and payment processing, Supabase for the order database, and Vercel for website hosting and private media storage. Normalized portraits are sent to Sightengine for image screening. The portraits and story instructions are sent to Alibaba's Wan video-generation service through its China endpoint to create your video. These providers process the information needed for their respective services; processing is not limited to a single country.
Private order downloads are different from the public example on the homepage. Uploading photos for generation does not give us permission to use them as a public marketing example. Authorized support and service providers may need access to information to operate the service and resolve issues.
Storage, download periods and deletion
Generated videos have a 7-day storage period starting when the file is archived. Save your video promptly; the exact download deadline is shown on your private order page. A short-lived download link can expire before that deadline; return to your order to request a fresh link. Refunds, disputes or other necessary investigations may require a longer hold on a file.
The video download period is not a promise that every record or original portrait is erased on the same date. Portraits, account information, payment records and support records have different operational needs. We retain information needed for the order, account, support, payment reconciliation and security, and handle deletion requests through support. Some records may need to be retained to resolve a dispute or meet applicable requirements.
Cookies, browser storage and analytics
Sign-in uses session technologies needed to maintain your account. The browser also stores order access information and purchase continuation details so you can recover your workflow. Signing out or switching accounts clears account-specific private access in the application.
We use Plausible Analytics to measure page visits and actions such as choosing a credit package, uploading photos, opening checkout and requesting a download. We do not send your photos, email address, account ID, order number, access token or private download link to Plausible. Private order page addresses are grouped together. Analytics events do not use advertising cookies. Tab storage prevents repeated reporting of some milestones; it does not identify you across devices.
Your requests and contact
Contact contact@zombiegenerator.com to request access, correction or deletion of information, or to ask how an order's data is handled. We may need to verify account ownership before acting. We reply within 2 business days; completing a request may take longer depending on its scope.
Only upload portraits of adults with permission to use and transform their images. Do not upload sensitive documents or information unrelated to the video.
